Description
The Ekinex® universal interface EK-CE2-TP is a KNX device which can be used as input and/or output module.
The device is equipped with 4 inputs to connect the KNX bus to switches, pushbuttons or classic sensors (normally not communicating on the KNX bus) or any binary signals from other devices, in order to control KNX bus functions (one input is configurable as analog to connect a NTC 10 kΩ at 25 °C temperature sensor), and 2 5A relay outputs to be used as electrical load control (independent) or paired for shutter and blind actuator control.
The voltage for polling the inputs is supplied within the device. The device integrates a KNX bus communication module and is realized for flush-mounting or for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN-rail. The device is powered by the KNX bus and does not require auxiliary power supply.

Delivery
Delivery includes a terminal block for connection to the bus. The NTC temperature sensor for the analog channel must be ordered separately.
Accessories
Support for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN-rail (code EK-SMG-35) and spring for snapping on the back of Ekinex® wall-mount devices (code EK-MAR) to be ordered separately.
Relay Output Functions (2 Channels 5A)
Independent Load Control
2 independent 5A relay outputs for direct switching of lighting, power outlets, or electrothermal valve actuators.
Shutter and Blind Actuation
Interlocked pairing of the two relay channels for motorized shutter, blind, and curtain drives with step-by-step slat positioning.
Timing and Logical Functions
Staircase lighting timer, on/off delay, flashing mode, and safety override/lock functions.
Status Feedback & Scenes
Direct status feedback telegrams onto the KNX bus and seamless integration with pre-configured comfort scenes.

On / Off Switching & Dimming
Independent switching or dimming of lighting circuits via toggle, short/long press actions.
Shutter and Venetian Blind Drives
Up/down movement and slat angle regulation via connected pushbuttons.
NTC Temperature Sensor & Thermostat
Input 1 configurable as analog NTC 10 kΩ input for ambient temperature measurement and room thermostat regulation.
Signal & Alarm Status Detection
Real-time state detection of signaling contacts from security equipment, technical alarms or float sensors.
Scene Recalling and Sending Values
Recalling comfort scenes and transmitting temperature, brightness, percentage or integer values over the KNX bus.

A detailed description of the parameters can be found in the application manual of the device. Configuration and commissioning require ETS5 2.0 or later versions. ETS application program: APEKCE2TP01.knxprod (or current release). Max 196 communication objects and 196 group addresses.
