Description
The Ekinex® universal interface EK-CC2-TP is a KNX device which can be used as input and/or output module.
The device is equipped with inputs to connect the KNX bus to switches, pushbuttons or classic sensors (normally not communicating on the KNX bus) or any binary signals from other devices, in order to control KNX bus functions, and control outputs for low consumption LEDs.
The voltage for polling the inputs is supplied within the device. The device integrates a KNX bus communication module and is realized for flush-mounting or for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN-rail. The device is powered by the KNX bus and does not require auxiliary power supply.
Power supply
- •30 Vdc power supply by KNX bus
- •Current consumption from bus < 10 mA
Delivery
Delivery includes a terminal block for connection to the bus.
Accessories
Support for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN-rail (code EK-SMG-35) and spring for snapping on the back of Ekinex® wall-mount devices (code EK-MAR) to be ordered separately.
Functions and Application Areas
On / Off Switching
Independent switching on and off of single electrical loads or load groups.
Dimming Control
Adjusting light intensity through short/long press actions or coupled input pairs.
Shutter and Blind Drives
Full movement up/down and precise step-by-step slat positioning for motorized shading.
Signal & Alarm Status Detection
Real-time state detection of signaling contacts from security equipment or technical alarms.
Scene Recalling and Saving
Instant recalling and memorizing of pre-configured lighting and comfort scenes.
Sending Values on Bus
Sending temperature, brightness, percentage or counter values over the KNX bus.
Pulse & Switching Cycle Counter
Counting input signal transitions and cycles for energy and maintenance tracking.
Low-consumption LED Outputs
Driving 2 low-consumption LEDs for status feedback, orientation nightlights, or visual alerts.
