Description

C4 TOOLBOX is a web-server and advanced IP-KNX interface designed to add functionality to a CONTROL4 supervision system when used in combination with Ekinex KNX devices.

The device is designed for installation on a DIN profile rail and occupies 2 modules. Built on an embedded operating system, it includes a native KNX TP (twisted pair) node to connect directly to the bus network of KNX devices. Connectivity as an IP gateway for Control4 is provided via the standard Ethernet port. The integrated HTML5 web server enables straightforward configuration directly within any browser.

With C4 TOOLBOX it is possible to:

Send commands and receive real-time status information from KNX devices in the CONTROL4 system

Monitor building energy consumption and control loads based on overall absorption with a dedicated graphic driver for Composer

Perform continuous diagnostic checks on KNX devices and receive notifications in case of malfunctions

Define command sequences (scenarios) and execute them with simple connections in Composer with third-party drivers

Create configurable logics with a graphic editor and run them autonomously in the background

Send notifications to CONTROL4 in the event of malfunctions or configurable events on the bus
