Description

The Ekinex® EK-IE1-SEC-TP secure IP interface realizes a bidirectional data connection between a PC or laptop and a KNX bus system via a LAN network.

Supporting the tunneling protocol, the IP interface allows addressing, parameter setting, visualization, protocolling and diagnosis of KNX bus devices via ETS.

It supports up to 8 simultaneous KNXnet/IP tunneling connections. The device features an integrated KNX bus communication module and is designed for mounting on a 35 mm profile rail. The power supply is supplied directly via the KNX bus without requiring an external auxiliary power supply. As a secure interface, the device prevents unauthorized access to the automation system.
